Masters Recruitment Fellowships

Nature of the Award:

Graduate School Masters Fellowships are intended to attract and recruit exceptional graduate students to enroll in masters and specialist studies.  Fellowships are open to all masters and specialist program applicants.  This fellowship is a one-time award of 2,000 to be posted to the students account.  There will be one award per program per academic year.

Graduate School Minority Masters Recruitment Fellowships seek to promote diversity in various career paths.  Fellowships are open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are from under-represented ethnic or racial groups or who are under-represented in their field of study.  The award, conditions and application procedure are identical to the Masters Recruitment Fellowship.  A limited number of minority fellowships will be awarded each academic year.

Application Procedure:

Applicants may not be currently or previously enrolled in the Graduate School.  Students may contact their program director to determine whether they might qualify for consideration. If so, they should send the director a one-page overview that addresses how indicators such as GPA, relevant standardized test scores, previous awards, and previous research might qualify the student for the Fellowship.

Nominations from program directors should be emailed to
