Masters Recruitment Fellowships
Masters Recruitment fellowships are awards funded by the Graduate School to attract top-quality masters and specialist students to The University of Missouri – St. Louis. Graduate Program Directors have the vital role of identifying and nominating eligible applicants.
Doctoral Recruitment Fellowships
Graduate School Doctoral Fellowships are intended to attract and recruit exceptional graduate students to enroll in full-time doctoral studies at the University of Missouri–St. Louis and are open to all applicants to doctoral programs.
Graduate School Dissertation Fellowships
The Graduate School Dissertation Fellowships support the completion of the dissertation by providing a stipend of $15,000 for the academic year.

The Bridge Fellowship is offered annually to an outstanding University of Missouri-St. Louis graduate student who participated in the UMSL Bridge Program while in high school in University City, Normandy, Wellston, or St. Louis City. To apply, students should submit their application through the Office of Financial Aid.
The Graduate School welcomes McNair Scholars by waiving the application fee. Please identify yourself as a McNair Scholar in the Statement of Purpose on the application and then request that your program director confirm your status in an email to Graduate Admissions. You may also be eligible for one of our doctoral recruitment awards.
There are numerous fellowships offered by outside agencies and organizations.
